Hi, my name is Lei le Grand, artist based in Sliedrecht, the Netherlands. I offer custom pet/animal portraits in watercolor.

A great deal of my subjects are family pets. To the greater public it might be just a cute dog or a sweet cat, but to it’s family, he/she is the beloved furry friend who saved them from stress or depression, who stayed right by their side during heavy medical treatments, who kept them warm in the coldest and loneliest days, who become their soulmate and best friend. What a great way to appreciate and to remember your pet forever, turning their ordinary photos into art.

Another deal of my subjects are animals that belong to the free nature. They are wild and free, establish their own rules in order to survive. They are extra sharp-minded, magnificent, fearless and have all the freedom in the world. Perhaps us humans love them so much because we ain’t them.
